The palazzo was built in 1600 by Pope Alexander Vll as a wedding gift to nobleman Giulio de’ Gori and is the grandest palace to be found in the historical centre of Siena, situated a few steps from the famous Piazza del Campo and the cathedral.

An impressive, traditional lobby leads to a covered courtyard, now a stylish and contemporary restaurant serving delicious light dishes and more hearty Tuscan cuisine.
